Kingfisher Oceanside Resort & Spa is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Our guests return time and time again for exceptional dining experiences, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, creativity, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Chef, duties include:

  • Preparing and cooking menu items to established recipes and standards

  • Assisting with specialty dishes including sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, meat, poultry, and seafood preparations

  • Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation of all food items

  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment

  • Following all kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards

  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Assisting with banquet and special event food preparation as required

  • Supporting the culinary team with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial kitchen experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation

  • $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

  • Plus gratuities:

    • Low season: approximately $2–$3/hour in tips

    • High season: approximately $4–$7/hour in tips
