Get ready for a day of winter fun with NVICA! We’re planning a snowshoeing adventure at Mount Washington’s Raven Lodge on February 23, 2025.

Meeting at the base 9:30am (Chain up Area). All are welcome. Members the association will have their pass paid for by the association. Rental are $22.40 for gear.

What to bring:

• Waterproof or resistant gloves:

• A second pair is recommended

• We do not rent gloves for sanitary reasons, but do have an abundance for sale

• Warm tights or long johns

• Balaclava or face mask

• Long sleeve turtle neck or thermal layer

• Warm fleece or sweater

• Ski/Snowboard socks or thin synthetic socks:

• Wearing two pairs of socks in boots is not recommended and will not keep your feet any warmer

• Snow pants or water-repellent pants

• Winter jacket

• Warm hat or toque

• Goggles and/or Sunglasses:

• Due to Covid, Goggles are not available for rent at our Accessories desk in the Rossignol Rental Centre.

• Winter boots

• Helmet (if you prefer your own):

• All lessons include Helmet rental

• Sunscreen

• Lip balm

• Loonies for the lockers
