Food Day Canada – The Harvest Table: A Taste of Vancouver Island

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, Food Day Canada and 4TVI will present The Harvest Table: A Taste of Vancouver Island at the beautiful Keating Farm in the Cowichan Valley.

Inspired by the legacy of Anita Stewart, founder of Food Day Canada, this signature event celebrates Canadian cuisine by bringing together chefs, farmers, producers, and food lovers from across Vancouver Island. The day will feature a family-friendly tasting festival where chefs and local producers serve small bites to hundreds of guests, followed by an intimate Harvest Table dinner showcasing the very best of Vancouver Island’s seasonal bounty.

NVICA members are encouraged to participate and represent North Vancouver Island by showcasing locally sourced Canadian ingredients, supporting our farmers and producers, and collaborating with fellow chefs from across the Island. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our culinary community, build new relationships, and help tell the story of Canadian food.

If you’re interested in participating as a chef, keep an eye out for additional information from Food Day Canada or contact the organizers for details. We hope to see a strong NVICA presence at this exciting new culinary event.
