Here’s a little look at the North Vancouver Island Culinary Association team in action at the Nautical Days Pancake Breakfast supporting the Comox Valley Hospice Society. It was a morning filled with cooking, teamwork, laughs and, of course, a LOT of pancakes! 🥞 We were so happy to be part of this community fundraiser, and even more grateful for the kind words we received from the Hospice team afterward. Christine Colbert, Executive Director of Comox Valley Hospice Society, shared: “The energy, joy and confidence you bring makes all of our jobs that much easier.” She also reminded us that over 1,200 people used Hospice services in 2025, with programs and services provided free of charge to people and families who need support during some of life’s most tender times. That’s why these events matter. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, energy and good spirits, and to Kevin and the Hospice team for having us along.
