Time to Fill the freezer!!!!
It’s time to start filling the freezer!
Ticket sales for the freezer raffle have been going really well, and we have until the end of the month to sell them all—so let’s keep up the great momentum.
Now, we need to start collecting details for the dishes you’re preparing. Attached is a label template for everyone contributing food to the raffle. Please fill it out (there’s an example included), and email it to office.nvica@gmail.com so we can print your labels.
The first batch of labels is already done—Chef Sunshine had her food prepared, labeled, and frozen the other day at NIC. The sooner we receive everyone’s info, the sooner we can print and distribute your labels. Ideally, you’ll be able to pick up your labels along with your containers.
If you need containers, please email nviculinaryassociation@gmail.com to arrange a pickup.
If your labels aren’t ready when you prepare your dish, please label each item with temporary masking tape that includes the name of the dish and who made it. Proper labels will be added after our volunteer returns from their break—unless someone is willing to take on the printing while they’re away. If you’re able to help, please let me know!

The NIC kitchen is available for up to five people on May 16, 2025.
Yolanda has generously offered her kitchen as well—please coordinate directly with her if you’d like to use her space.
