The annual Volunteer Nanaimo Appreciation Lunch will continue at Beban Park in Nanaimo, with the North Island branch of the Canadian Culinary Federation taking the lead in organizing and preparing the meal. The event will bring together culinary professionals and members to recognize the contributions of volunteers in the community, while raising funds to support scholarships and bursaries for culinary students and young chefs.
